Clare Castle Country Park receives £1.5m National Lottery funding!

The Trustees of Clare Castle Country Park are delighted to announce that their application for £1.5 million of National Lottery funding has been approved.   The decision by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) follows an application from the Trust which undertook extensive development stage work, including community and stakeholder consultation, over a nine-month period last year.

Dedham Vale & Stour Valley Volunteers help in The Park

New Playground Opening

Children from toddlers to teens will now be able to enjoy the latest play equipment including climbing frames, swings, rope walks and a spinner. Maintaining the Park

While St Edmundsbury Borough Councils Park’s Department do an excellent job in cutting the grass, clearing litter etc and providing specialist advice much of the general maintenance is carried out by the working party volunteers.
