Clare is a Walkers are Welcome town and the local walks group runs a varied programme of monthly walks from the Park. Walks range from family friendly short walks of 2 to 3 miles to longer walks of about 8 miles, so there is something for everyone throughout the year and walkers range from the very young to the not so young. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Most walks take place on a Saturday morning – meet by the Old Goods Shed (near the car park) at 10.15 for a 10.30 start.
