Fully refurbished in 2019 to a high specification, the Old Goods Shed provides modern facilities and easy access within an original Victorian railway building. In the shadow of a medieval motte and a stone’s throw from a beautiful river walk, the Old Goods Shed is a landmark in the historic Suffolk medieval town of Clare. The Park attracts significant visitor numbers, particularly during the summer months and at weekends.

A characterful, multi use space with easy access to the building and car parking on site, the Old Goods Shed is an ideal place for:

Hire charges for the Old Good Shed for 2026 and 2027 are as follows:

Due to high heating costs we also need to levy a heating surcharge during the winter months, so that we’re not hiring the building at a loss. The surcharge will depend on the time of year and booking length, so please contact us for a quote.
